This spring assisted knife is equipped with a 4" single-edged Drop Point Black and Silver 440C Stainless Steel blade with weight saving cutouts providing the longevity, durability, and corrosion resistance found in some of the most expensive cutlery! It also features a durable Stainless Steel Frame with Polymer ABS Plates containing Digital Camo Paracord wrapped as an inlay that can be removed and used if needed depending on the situation.  This provides a secure, lightweight grip and a sleek look that blends in nicely with a wooded environment. The spring assisted knife, in contrast to a standard automatic switchblade knife, is not opened by pressing an activating button (the button is what gets an automatic knife classified as illegal in some municipalities.) , it is opened by using the index-open "flipper", which creates a hand guard when it is open.

To summarize the internal spring featured in this knife assists and finishes the opening process once the index flipper is pushed. That's right!!! Once the blade has reached a 30-40 degree angle, it automatically slams open the rest of the way with the force of a switchblade!!!
