This Spring Assisted Knife is equipped with a 3mm 2.75" long Compact single-edged Drop Point Razor Sharp 3CR13 Stainless Steel blade which provides the longevity, durability, and corrosion resistance found in some of the most expensive cutlery! The spring assisted knife, in contrast to a standard automatic switchblade knife, is not opened by pressing an activating button (the button is what gets an automatic knife classified as illegal in some municipalities.) , it is opened by using the index-open "flipper" or thumbstud, which creates a hand guard when it is open.

To summarize the internal spring featured in this knife assists and finishes the opening process once the index flipper is pushed. That's right!!! Once the blade has reached a 30-40 degree angle, it automatically slams open the rest of the way !!!
