This spring assisted knife is equipped with a 3" compact drop point 440C stainless steel blade that is 3mm thickness, finished in satin black, and has a combination plain and serrated edge.  This provides the longevity, durability, and corrosion resistance found in some of the most expensive cutlery! It also features a durable Stainless Steel Frame with polymer ABS USA Flag print scales creating a secure, lightweight grip with an American look.  Add to all this, a handy / removable pocket clip as well as a Lanyard Attachment Hole and you have a knife that is that is conveniently suited to most tasks with a minimal footprint making it a great EDC (everyday carry) knife.

The spring assisted knife, in contrast to a standard automatic switchblade knife, is not opened by pressing an activating button (the button is what gets an automatic knife classified as illegal in some municipalities.) , it is opened by using the index-open "flipper" or thumbstud, which creates a hand guard when it is open.

To summarize the internal spring featured in this knife assists and finishes the opening process once the index flipper is pushed. That's right!!! Once the blade has reached a 30-40 degree angle, it automatically slams open the rest of the way with the force of a switchblade!!!
