The beauty of this spring assisted feat of engineering lies in its pivot area where a wound-up internal spring has been nested that assists in the opening of the knife. To summarize the internal spring featured in this knife assists and finishes the opening process once the index flipper is pushed. That's right!!! Once the blade has reached a 30-40 degree angle, it automatically slams open the rest of the way !
