Spring Assisted Karambit - Items tagged as "Liner lock knives"

The tiger claw is believed to be the inspiration behind the creation of the karambit blade. It consists of single, double, or even triple edged crescent curved blade that continues into a curved handle. Most modern karambit knives contain a finger guard which make it difficult to dislodge from the hand while maximizing maneuverability and grip. These karambit knife variants have folding blades that open by pushing an index-open "flipper" or thumbstud. Once the blade has reached an opening angle of 30-40% an internal spring will engage and finish opening the blade causing it to slam open with the same force as a switchblade.
